This individual is responsible for assisting the patient with all aspects of pre-operative preparations in order to promote patient confidence in their medical care and to make the surgical experience as smooth as possible; acts as a liaison between the office, surgical facility, patient and primary care physician.
This individual is responsible for performing an extensive number of data-collection functions, as delegated by the physician, to allow for proper, professional diagnosis of patients’ conditions.
Patient Care Coordinator/Scheduling and Medical Records
This individual is responsible for scheduling all patient appointments with necessary physician in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring the patient feels welcome to the practice and continues coming here to receive top quality care, and monitoring and modifying physician-scheduling templates, as necessary, to maximize efficiency.
Medical Billing and Coding Specialist
This individual is responsible for all phases of coding, billing, insurance payment posting/payment downloads, and account follow-up by using accepted billing practices and ensure thorough and consistent account resolution with insurance payers.
