Ocular Surface Surgery
The ocular surface is composed of the cornea, tears, eyelids, and conjunctiva. These areas are often most exposed to external environmental factors, and therefore are the main areas where a majority of eye conditions occur, including allergies, scarring, chemical burns, dry eye syndrome, meibomian gland dysfunction, blepharitis, and rosacea. While most of these conditions can be treated with eye drops or medication, some severe cases may require ocular surface surgery. Upon examining your eye and symptoms, our doctors will help you determine the best course of action and if ocular surface surgery may be suited for you.
