Available Opportunities:
Ophthalmic Technician
This individual is primarily responsible for assisting ophthalmologists by taking patient medical histories, performing preliminary eye exams and diagnostic tests, instructing patients on medications and procedures, preparing patients for examinations, maintaining equipment, and contributing to patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician; essentially managing the flow of clinical activities in an ophthalmology practice.
Patient Care Coordinator/Scheduling and Medical Records
This individual is responsible for scheduling all patient appointments with necessary physician in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring the patient feels welcome to the practice and continues coming here to receive top quality care, and monitoring and modifying physician-scheduling templates, as necessary, to maximize efficiency.
Surgery Coordinator
This individual is primarily responsible for managing the administrative and logistical aspects of eye surgery procedures, including measuring patients eyes, scheduling patients, coordinating with surgical facilities, preparing patients for surgery with pre-operative instructions, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete, and acting as a liaison between patients, surgeons, and other healthcare staff throughout the surgical process.
