Our eyes are nourished by a constant flow of liquids. These liquids are managed through a drainage system that controls their inflow and outflow. When there is a blockage in the system, liquids are restricted from continuing their natural movement and build up within the eye. This causes eye pressure to rise which can lead to severe damage to the optic nerve (the nerve that connects the eye to the brain) and consequently, cause vision to become blurry or have blindspots.
