We accept most medical insurance plans. Be certain to bring your current proof of insurance on the day of your visit. If a referral for specialty service is required by your insurance, please be certain to obtain that before your visit. Payment for services not covered by your primary insurance is appreciated at the time of your visit.
In most cases your medical insurance will not cover a visit for “routine” eye care. In order to appropriately file with your medical insurance company there must be a symptom, complaint, or specific condition associated with your visit.
If you have coverage through a Vision Plan you are required to pay us for your routine visit and file the Vision Plan claim yourself. This is because ophthalmologists are NOT a provider for vision plans.
